Here i explore the world of the MORE INTERESTING guitar sound effects. I do not aim to review every single effect or pedal i own or come across, just the ones that stand out either by superbly enhancing an already great tone (straight guitar-amp), or twisting that same tone into something bizarre, insane, unconventional, and FUN!

The list for upcoming reviews:
Tel Ray Super Organ Tone (oil can tube reverb)
Danelectro 9100 (spring tube reverb)
Line 6 FM4 (filter modeler)
Morley PWO Power Wah (early BIG chrome housing)
Boss T-Wah
Danelectro Transparent Overdrive v.1 (as of this writing, a version2 is about to be released)
Danelectro French Toast (octave fuzz)
Behringer TP300 (tremolo)
Ibanez PH5 Phaser (Soundtank Series)
Line 6 Space Chorus
Danelectro Wasabi Rock-A-Bye (Echo/Overdrive combo pedal)
Line 6 DL4 (Delay Modeler)

The way theyre set up, i have most of them sitting on a big-ass pedal case, running thru a home-made FOURTEEN-LOOP BYPASS effects loop. TRUE bypass, i might add (yep, im quite proud of this creation). This keeps the original dry tone untouched until the footswitch is engaged for whatever effect i want to use.

Though not an effect unto themselves, i would also include 2 other pedals: the Morley George Lynch Tripler (use 3 amps SIMULTANEOUSLY), and the Radial Bigshot ABY pedal. They essentially route your signal to drive multiple amps at the same time or switch between them.

These are what's plugged in, turned on, and ready for use. Not all the time, or on all at once, but kicked in when i feel like coloring and making the sound/noise more interesting for whatever song im playing. STay tuned for my impressions and experiences on these pedals.

I am SUPER interested in what you have to say about the Tel Ray Super Organ Tone reverb!!!!!  I have seen these and wondered about their tone and function.

Is yours in good working condition?

Here's a list of pedals I have currently, if you're interested in any of their functions, let me know:
Budda Bud-Wah
Robert Keeley modded Ibanez AD9 analog delay
ISP Decimator noise reduction
Barber Tone Press compressor
Bixonic Expandora distortion
Fulltone SupaTrem tremelo
Peterson Strobostomp virtual strobe tuner
DOD FX25 Envelope Filter (auto-wah)
Thomas Organ Cry Baby vintage wah pedal
DeArmond volume pedal
Digitech XP300 Space Station....multi-voiced noise generator and arpeggiator

Although not pedals, these are signal processing devices too:
Alesis Microverb II digital reverb
1970's Leslie 18 2-speed cabinet
Weber Z-Matcher impedance matcher

Used to have, but sold (why oh why?)
Peavey Valverb rackmounted tube reverb and tremelo unit
Ibanez AD202 multifunction delay-reverb-chorus unit
Boss Loop Station RC2

hopefully you have some patience, cuz im slow to update my site lately. Tongue

plus i plan on adding sample clips so people can actually hear what im writing about. that can delay it even further.  But i think its best when people hear what im hearing, so my "verdict" can be a bit more legitimate.

In reality, reviews are just opinions, and can vary greatly from one person to another. My opinion on a sound or tone may vary greatly from someone else. that said, its always great to know what works for each person, and how general consensus fares with personal preferences.

i was going to write "check back often" but the leisurely pace here will conflict with it. but definitely reviews will be done.Grin
